The 6.6L Duramax Turbo Diesel engine has plenty of power with 300 horses and 605 pound-feet of torque. Can be tuned to produce 350+ horsepower and 650+ pound-feet of torque. Driving this ambulance with its large size we were impressed with how smoothly the Allison Transmission shifted and ran through the gears. It has plenty of power to get up to speed on the highway 75+mph with ease. Accelerates very easily.

Allison 6-speed Automatic Transmission works properly and smoothly.
